Multi Day Ice Technician Course
Designed to teach the Ice Technician how to install curling ice and a review of maintenance procedures. This course is replacing the previous “Level 2” Course.
Where: Rossland Curling Club, 1860 2 Ave, Rossland, BC V0G 1Y0
When: Friday October 4th - Sunday October 6th.

Course Fees: $500.00+tax for Ice Technicians working at Curl BC Member Clubs (Use discount code BCICETECH), $800.00+ tax for non-Curl BC Members
Registration deadline: September 20, 2024
Payment: Payment in full must be received by September 20, 2024 As such, a registration is not considered complete until payment has been received. Payment can be completed online, by e-Transfer, or a cheque can be mailed to the Curl BC office. Payment will not be collected in person. (See instructions once directed to the payment section of this registration form).
Cancellation Policy: A cancellation fee of $50 will be incurred for withdrawals after September 20, 2024
Ensure the Persons Curling IO profile information is current and complete. . Participants will be expected to arrive Friday morning, and stay through until the end on Sunday (exact schedule to be determined). After completion of the course material, you will be given access to the Curl Canada eLearning portal where you will access the final exam. You then have 45 days to challenge the exam and earn your certificate.
This is a unique opportunity for you to come and work with members of the provincial ice team during a competition, as well as attend the Curling Ice Technician certification program. In order for the course to run, a minimum of 6 participants need to apply. If the minimum threshold is not met, then those that have signed up will be contacted with other opportunities to take the course.
