An Adult (19+) coaches camp running along side our Youth Summer Camp hosted at the Kelowna Curling Club
This coaches camp is open for new to experienced competitive curling coaches. There will be a mix of off ice sessions (strategy, team dynamics, Ice making info session) and on ice sessions (technical analysis, and sweeping). Registration closes May 22, 2026.
It is recommended for all coaches who are Canadian residents to complete the online portion of the new Competition Coach Course to understand the latest Curling Canada technical directions. (The course is only available to residents of Canada.) https://www.curling.ca/coaching/competition-coach/

PRE-REQUISITES: Coaches may interact with part of the Rockslide youth camp during sessions, therefore a condition of acceptance into the camp is having your NCCP safe sport completed (within previous 3 years), and a valid criminal record check on file with Curl BC (completed within the previous 5 seasons).

Tues July 7: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm - Off Ice 12:30 pm - Lunch (not provided) 2:00 - 4:30 - On ice at Kelowna Curling Club 5:30 pm - Dinner (Provided), social, and Rockslide Celebrity Coach Q and A.
Wed July 8 9:00 am to 12:30: Off ice 12:30 Lunch (not provided) 2:00 - 3:30 on ice 3:30 - Coaches camp complete
*Please note we are trying to secure a meeting room walking distance to the Kelowna Curling Club for the Off ice sessions.

REFUND POLICY: a cancellation fee of $50 will be incurred for withdrawals after the registration closes. Cancellations before registration closes will be fully reimbursed.
